Art Supply List and Kits

Art Therapy Kits – Curated for Your Healing Journey

At Tidewaters, each client has the option to receive a personalized Art Therapy Kit designed to support and enrich your therapeutic work. These thoughtfully curated kits include materials tailored to your unique goals—whether you're exploring identity, navigating grief, processing trauma, or reconnecting with your creativity.

With a wide range of themes and approaches during each session, these kits offer tangible ways to deepen your experience both in and between sessions.

That said, kits are never required.

Some clients prefer to use materials they already have or gather their own based on a suggested supply list we provide.

Neither option is better or more therapeutic than the other—what matters most is that you feel comfortable, supported, and in control of your process. It's all about choice, flexibility, and what feels right for you.

Art Supply List

At Tidewaters, any art supply list we provide is meant to be a gentle recommendation, not a requirement. You’re encouraged to use what you already have, explore what you’re curious about, or pick and choose based on what feels inspiring or accessible to you.

There’s no “right” way to engage in art therapy—what matters most is that you’re listening to your own inner guidance. If you're drawn to gather every item on the list, that’s wonderful. If only a few materials speak to you, that’s just as valid.

This process is about trusting yourself, honoring your needs, and creating in a way that feels supportive to you. We’re here to offer suggestions—not rules—and to support your journey, wherever it leads.
